Production Company:
The production company that I choose to
produce my film was Hammerhead Productions.
What is a production company?
A production company is a company that
produces the film; I my case the production company that I choose only did
thrillers and horrors. The production company managers the budget and the
overall cost of the film, as they are the ones who supply the money for it. The
production ident needs to stand out from other so in the process of making one
we needed to see what the bigger company’s were doing right and take ideas off
them. Our ident was made to look similar to Universal Studios. The background
has been picked off the corner to make the ident look similar but not
identical.
What production company did I choose?
The production company that I choose was
Hammerhead Productions. This company specializes in thrillers and is one of the
oldest production company’s in Britain. It is good that this company is in
Britain as most of the bigger ones are US only. Previously the most famous film
that this company has done is Women in Black, which topped both the UK cinemas,
and the US ones.
What makes a good Ident?
A good ident is appealing to the also but
at the same time can be remembered by them. Also the type of genre should be fitted
to the ident for example if it a horror the ident should be dark.
