What are film titles and why are they vital to your own sequence. Analyses two different titles and how they are effective.

They are used in TV and are to acknowledge the people who make the film. They sometimes start when the film start most of them have non-diegetic sound as they show everybody what people went in making this film.

Film titles are to show who made the film and what they do in it. They can introduce actors and they can give credit to the people such as directors in the film to why they have done it. The main reason why they have film titles is because they need to open the film. They usually open the film with those as behind them it can tell a storey of what has happened previously on the last show/ film.

The film that I am going to analysis is Captain America.

In Captain America the open titles tell a story of what happened to him and that he is the lead character. The sequence is all animated and this makes it effective because there are not many film titles that have been animated to tell a storey. This is made out of CGI and takes a long time. The people who made the opening titles on this film are the people who came first on the CGI sequence. This will make people remember the film and the opening titles as not many people do it. It shows Captain America as a masculine figure helping the weak. Stereotyping women as weak. It also is set during the war so it zooms into old photos of women helping during the war.
