The film that I have analysed is Need for Speed.

In this first still the car is red, red is the colour for love, passion, danger or death. With it being a long shot and still only being able to see the car and the person the shot shows that something possibly dangerous is going to happen. The rule of thirds has been used to create evenly divided so the shot looks even. The dark window shows nothing yet someone is there a women.

In the second shot there is a lot of action going on to thrill the audience. Fast cars and helicopters are typical in thriller films. There is the golden mean that is used in this shot which keeps then shot evenly distributed. With it being an extreme long shot there is a lot of action going on. Cars are notorious for flipping at fast speeds and that is what the director has done to create more tension.

Those shots show many things such as the concentration and determination on the face. It also shows and out of focus rebel car chasing this car. This shot is once again using the golden mean. The effect of the car in the background make the scene tenser.
This shows that an accident is about to happen and makes the scene more tense. The golden mean is used in this shot so it makes you look at all of the shot.
