2	Shot two will be showing the whole building in an extreme long shot.		2 secs
3	This shot will show Luke entering the building which will be shown as a mid-shot.		3 secs
4	Match on action shot from inside the building where we see Luke entering the building.		3 secs
5	Luke is walking around the building searching for clues this will be a Mid-shot.		4 secs
6	There will be a flash back of the scene where Matthew and Sam have been fighting; Luke would be able to see this. Flash to white.		2 secs
7	The next shot will show Luke heading over to the action as if he was part of it.		3 secs
8	Luke then looks around the dead body looking for what could have killed him. This will be a high angle shot to show Luke’s power over the person.		5 secs
9	There will be another flash back to show Luke what happened and this will show the murder weapon of a rope.		4 secs
10	Luke is then in his mind piecing together the whole murder and the audience can see all of the action unfold.		7 secs
11	The shots show the fight between Sam and Matthew; this will be the final shot of them before they see the death. There will be high, low mid and close up shots to show the emotion of Sam and Matt emotion and status.		15 secs
12	It then clicks to Luke that the person who killed Sam was Matt the records that he has shown that they were both in the forces.		2 secs
13	Over the shoulder shot of Luke looking over the dead body.		2 secs
14	Point of view shot of Sam’s last moments before he dies.		4 secs
15	Looks at the position and state he was left in.		2 secs
16	A shot of the whole notice board where the characters are shown.		3 secs
17	The zoomed in close shot to show the actors face, name and what role they are playing.		3 secs
18	The second tracker shot showing the second persons role.		3 secs
19	Tracking shot to show the second to last person’s role in the thriller opening.		3 secs
20	Tracker shot to show the last persons role with a polaroid picture of him.		3 secs
21	The next part of the clip shows the end of the notice board and fading back into the drama of the opening.		3 secs
22	The last shot is showing Luke in a mid-shot Matthew will be behind Luke as a silhouette or a shadow with the murder weapon in his hand. This will then fade out to black being the end.		5 secs

 

 What needs to be included in a shot list?

Shot/angle, pictures, duration, Soundtrack and description. They shouldn’t be less than 3 seconds but no more than 6.
